JT-Soft’s CryptoTerm is a package that includes three software applications: CryptoTerm, CryptoFTP and CryptoFTPBatch. CryptoTerm is a terminal emulator that supports SSH, SSL and TLS. CryptoFTP is a FTP client that has a classic, two-pane interface. And last but not least, CryptoFTP is batch FTP client that you can use to automate file transfers.

According to the developer, CryptoTerm works with Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, the quite old Windows XP, and even older versions of Windows, like Windows 95 and 98. To get CryptoTerm up and running on a Windows PC, you’ll have to complete a standard installation procedure: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions presented onscreen.

Two important things will happen during the installation process. First up, you will be asked if you want to use CryptoTerm for personal, home use or if you want to use it for commercial use. If you want to use CryptoTerm for personal purposes, then you’ll be glad to know that the application is free. If you want to use CryptoTerm for commercial purposes, you can use it for free for 30 days, then you will have to get a license.

The second important thing that will happen during the installation process is that you will be asked to choose which applications you want to install. As mentioned earlier, this JT-Soft product is made up of three applications: a terminal emulator, a FTP client, and a batch FTP client. You’ll get to choose if you want to install all three applications, just two of them, or just one.

If you have a hard time figuring things out, open the Help file that accompanies CryptoTerm. It presents detailed information on how to use CryptoTerm.

Download CryptoTerm and you won’t get one application, you’ll get three: a terminal emulator, a FTP client, and a batch FTP client.

Pros
